• Finish just under time

• skip the preamble -> an introductory statement in a document that explains its purpose and underlying philosophy
• skip qualification
• skip backstory
• skip thinking out loud

Make your point and zip it

• State your heart of the message
• End your talking turn
• Give them a chance to talk (look for head nods and non-verbal cues)

Finish just under time

• Asked for 30 minute finish in 28 minute
